Today was weird, good, but weird. I woke up 5 minutes before my first class, got there on time, ate lunch with Elena, seminar, production meeting for VagMons, pony, then work. Like I didn’t really have a break in the day, but I did? It was just strange amounts of free time. Pony was so so sweet today. We free lunged and then just kind of hung out— worked on bowing. He is such a spoiled boy when it comes to cookies.
I have entitled this self portrait “Something is wrong when the only thing higher than your books is your hair” because this is the stack of books I have for classes/I have out from the library for my research paper. Wahoo… only a couple more days till break.

Day one post show. So tired. Just kind of dragging myself through classes. But I have an amazing lesson. Pip was SO well behaved. My back hurt like a mother, but it was just like “you are such a star, why can’t you be like this always?!” I was so proud of him. Turned in m not really rough draft for my history paper too… so that happened… lots of things happening that fell by the way side during Laramie… Like the fact that I had an observation due on the 14th and didn’t realize until today—- four days later. Whoops.

Closing day. I met Leigh Fondakowski. Potentionally the best moment of my life. And she liked the show, she thought my actors did really great work. It was awesome. It was so wonderful to hear that, like you guys have no idea— I just wanted to cry. And then they laid down the most spectacular evening performance. It was SO good. I laughed, I cried, I sobbed. I am going to miss this cast so very much.

No show today, spent the whole day working. Stopped by the barn, just got on quickly. Went to NoHo for a friend’s birthday dinner then went and got pizza with my parents, because they came in tonight to see my show tomorrow! SO EXCITED!

Had a WONDERFUL lesson on the pony. He was SO good. Then the cast laid down another spectacular show. Then milkshakes with the stage manager, the assistant stage manager, and one of the actors. OH! And I got the director position for Vagina Monologues— awww yeah.

Started such a rough day. I skipped class to go to that clinic, and it started ok, and then it got bad, but then it was ok. But… the end point was basically that I need a new saddle, oh and my horse’s back is really sore because of my new expensive saddle, OH and I fell of and crashed into a jump and broke it. Yeah… that happened… I don’t know what I’m going to do. But my friend Abigail was there for me— and I am just so thankful for her. Also it was OPENING NIGHT. It went so well! Small, but great crowd. The cast was SO great. God. I just so proud of them.
Pictured is a vast majority of the characters in the show. My baby angels are so beautiful. So proud.
